PROGRAM #1
Remote Image Using Zones for Variable Rate Application

This program is designed to assess variable rate nutrient placement quickly, easily and economically. An aerial NIR/NDVI photo is taken of your field near the end of the crop production year (early September). This enables us to set up zone maps based on yield that can then be used for soil sampling and then variable rate applications that fall. Yield goals are set up for each zone and nutrients are variable rate applied to maximize profits in each zone. Depending on field variance and several other factors 3 to 7 zones can be set up under this program.

With this program you will receive:
1. DOQ natural color photo of your field
2. NDVI (normalized difference vegetation
index) photo
3. ASCS soil type map
4. P1,K,S,Zn and pH tests (if sampled through
SkyHawk)(additional micro tests available at extra cost)
5. All lab results (if sampled through SkyHawk)
6. Consultation with dealer sales rep.
7. Management zone maps
8. Management Zone Nutrient application

9. 3–7 Zone soil tests with GPS sight specific points (order separate at additional cost)

PROGRAM #2
Remote Image Using Grids for Variable Rate Application

This more intense soil sampling program is the ultimate step up in accuracy in Variable Rate Technology (VRT). Using an aerial NIR/NDVI photo for yield prediction, you can then either take new grid samples (usually 1.5a to 4.4a grids) or use your current grid samples if less than 4 yrs. old. This will achieve even better nutrient placement, by giving every acre (rather than every zone) its own yield goal and fertility rating.

PROGRAM #3
Using Grower’s Combine Yield Maps for Variable Rate Applications

This program will use your combine GPS yield maps to set up either zones or grids for sampling. Your combine yield maps will be processed and refined using our software and then used to make either grid or zone soil tests. This will create excellent variable rate nutrient application maps.
